Doors Open Hamilton: The Green Cottage

Monday, 13 May 2013

Our third Doors Open Hamilton stop was the Green Cottage on Ferrie Street, which is owned by Peter Ormond. It’s a stop I’ve wanted to make on the tour for a few years now, and I’m glad I finally did, not only to see the home’s gorgeous repurposed wood finishing and its garden, but also for the freshly baked bread and the free strawberry plants that I’m destined to kill because my thumb is less than green.
