I'm back to work tomorrow after 11 days of friends, family, and good food, and to say I'm dreading it is a huge understatement. It's amazing how theraputic a week and a half away from the office can be, doing the things I never manage to do enough of (cooking, reading, baking, even pilates!) when I'm tethered to a desk for most of my week. That said, despite not being able to escape the nine to five like I hoped to in 2012, it was a productive and fulfilling year, including everything from a perfect proposal in Punta Cana, a visit to NYC, a pile of Lit Lunches, and some exciting freelance projects.
I can't wait to see what 2013 brings. Happy New Year, everyone!
